BAD CAR-MA: OAP Runs Himself Over In Drive

A 77-year-old man died after he was run over by his own car after he left it running in his drive,

Luckless Giuseppe Galluzzo, 77, was mowed down when the classic Chevrolet Monte Carlo rolled backwards down a slope on 22nd January.

Galluzzo – from Las Vegas, Nevada state, USA – had been standing behind thew car and was crushed when it rolled over him, the police said.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) said in a statement obtained by Newsflash: “A driverless gold 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was parked in the driveway and left running.”

They added: “The male driver exited the vehicle and was standing behind it when it began rolling backward down the sloped driveway.

“The male was knocked to the ground, at which point the car rolled over him and began to drag him.

“The male sustained mortal injuries as a result of the collision.”

The investigation, which is being conducted by the LVMPD Collision Investigation Section, according to the police, is ongoing.
