Baby Boy Sits On Ground Covered In Blood Of Teen Parents After Being Shot Dead Before His Eyes

This shocking photo shows a baby boy sitting on the pavement with his nappy and leg stained by the blood of his lifeless teenage parents who were shot dead before his eyes.

The brutal incident took place in the town of Alto Garcas in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso on the afternoon of Friday, 8th October.

Video footage filmed at the scene shows the baby boy crying as the bloodied bodies of his parents lie on the ground next to him.

According to the police, Nicolas Elias Albuquerque do Prado, 18, and Cleidiana Pereira Alixandre, 19, had travelled with their baby son from the town of Alto Araguaia to Ato Garcas by taxi.

When they reached their destination, which is believed to have been operating as a crack den, they got out of the taxi and were instantly shot by two men on a motorbike.

Their son, who is reported to be 10 months old, was not hit, and the suspects fled the scene after committing the crime.

The owner of the house where the couple got out the taxi told the police she did not recognise the suspects.

A team from the Child Protective Services collected the child from the scene.

According to the police, the victims, who were a couple, have criminal records for drug trafficking and gang involvement.

The news outlet Olhar Direto reported a slightly different version of events from other media, stating that the gunmen arrived at the scene in a pickup truck and told the mother to put the baby on the ground before opening fire.

Olhar Direto also reports that Do Prado had a criminal record for drug trafficking and was being investigated for two counts of robbery and that Alixandre had previously been arrested for receiving stolen goods.

According to Olhar Direto, the Child Protective Services took the baby boy to hospital in the city of Rondonopolis to receive treatment for an injury he sustained when he was placed on the ground.

The police are investigating the case.
