The use of dry, cold snow as an alternative to cold water is new. The body does not suffer from cold shock as is seen when water is used. This reportedly makes the sauna very popular due to the pleasant feeling it leaves users feeling.

TechnoAlpin, says: “The underlying principle is that of Kneipp: the interchange of hot and cold boosts blood circulation and stimulates metabolism.”

The snow is renewed with dry air each night and is then kept at a constant temperature of minus 10 degrees.

The ecologically thought-out technology reportedly enables an extremely resource-saving operation.

The snow saunas can be used all year round, as well as in countries which do not receive any snow.
