AUDI HECK DID THEY MANAGE THAT? Pals Prang Each Other’s Supercars

Petrolhead pals have shown off how their supercars were pranged when they managed to crash into each other in the street.

The cars – an Audi R8 and a Ferrari 458 – are worth a cool GBP 500,000 together.

Footage taken moments after the shunt in the affluent suburb of Sea Point in Cape Town, South Africa, shows the damage sustained by the luxury motors.

Local media named the Ferrari’s owner as cryptocurrency entrepreneur JP van der Spuy, 36.

He was reportedly not driving his car at the time of the accident on 22nd October.

The owner of the Audi was not named but is said to be a close friend of JP.

The currency tycoon told police officers that neither driver was speeding at the time of the collision.

Amazingly, he said, there was no bad blood between any of the drivers or vehicle owners involved in the smash.

Images show how the front of the Ferrari and the rear of the Audi were left badly damaged.

JP captioned a video he posted online to his 14,200 followers: “Its just a car. No one got hurt, which is all that matters.”

In a later video, he joked that he had replaced his damaged Ferrari by filming as he walked past a high-end Mercedes before pointing the camera at a Fiat 500.
