This is the moment Atletico Madrid defender Jose Maria Gimenez challenges his fans to shave their heads as he finishes shaving his own with a razor to “see who really has balls”.

Uruguay defender Gimenez posted the video to his army of 992,000 online followers starting a challenge dubbed “#pelachallenge” referring to the Spanish word “pelar” which means to shave your head.

The video shows the moment only the bottom half of Gimenez’s face can be seen as he says “lots of challenges, lots of challenges with the toilet paper, with the broom and I don’t know what.”

Gimenez is referring to the recent popular online challenges where people play keepy-uppy with a toilet roll.

The other is netizens posting pictures of balancing a broom on its head without letting it touch anything but the floor for support.

Gimenez then moves the camera further from his face revealing himself in the final stages of shaving his head right after saying: “Let’s see who really has balls.”

The Uruguayan international smiles while apparently looking at himself in the video recording and continues to shave as the video comes to an end.

The central defender has played for Atletico Madrid since 2013 helping the Spanish side win the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Super Cup in 2018.
