This is the moment cops arrest a man after he reportedly attempted to escape a traffic stop.

The incident happened when a police officer reportedly spotted a grey Mazda 4 turning around through a stop sign on Friday, 20th January, in Atlanta, USA.

When the unnamed officer tried to make a traffic stop, the driver allegedly stopped, but only seconds later, he suddenly drove away.

The officer issued a “be on the lookout” (BOLO) order and went for a search.

The aerial part of the footage shows the location of the suspect’s vehicle.

The suspect’s car was damaged on the front part and the officers determined he had hit a U-Haul truck, before running on foot.

The in-car footage shows officers pulling over to the place where the suspect’s car is and arresting the suspect, who had been hiding among bushes.

Atlanta Police Department (APD) said in a short statement obtained by Newsflash: “APD Aviation Unit Assist Zone 3 Officers In Tracking Down Suspect Who Fled Traffic Stop.”
