An astrologer who claims to have psychic abilities has been charged with sexually assaulting several women after luring them to his home via social media and dating apps.

Mike Hayoun, 43, was reportedly charged with attempted rape, indecent assault, and fraudulently obtaining benefits on Monday.

According to the indictment, Hayoun, who is based in Israel, claimed he was an astrologer with psychic skills on dating apps and social networks to trick women into sleeping with him and in some cases, making them pay for it.

Since 2012, he told his victims that they were ‘cursed’ and had to undergo special rituals to remove the spell placed on them.

During such ceremonies, he allegedly sexually assaulted his victims, even making some of them pay for his ‘special services’.

He reportedly earned their trust by gaining personal information about them from an illegal civil database.

The indictment said: “In order to fraudulently obtain the consent of the complainants to commit various sexual offences, the defendant performed rituals to remove curses cast on the complainants.

“As part of the rituals, he committed acts of sodomy, rape, indecent acts on seven complainants, and also received money from some of them fraudulently.”

It is unclear when the defendant will appear in court.
