Former Arsenal star Andey Arshavin’s ex-WAG is reportedly depressed and set to hire a bodyguard to protect after filing a police report against the midfielder for threatening her and stealing her car.

Alisa Arshavina, 36, recently filed a police report against her former husband Arshavin, 37, with reports in Russia suggesting the former captain of the country’s national team has been threatening his former wife and asking for a large amount of money to be paid back to him.

Even though the divorce process is scheduled to start on 26 February, tensions are already high between the two former spouses.

Reporteds state the only thing that he left Alisa with from the car was a baby seat.

She even filed a police report against the football player and said she hopes that cops will have a chat with her former husband.

The incident, as well as the threats, has scared Alisa so much that she is considering hiring a bodyguard.

Her lawyer Alexander Dobrovinskiy said: “We are thinking of getting Alisa bodyguards. I think she needs it.”

Mr Dobrovinskiy also added that the entire situation has upset his client and she is feeling depressed.

Arashavina even closed her social media accounts in the hope of getting some privacy in the midst of what looks like a nasty divorce.

Netizen ‘Masanya’ said: “They are worth each other, these two.”

And a guest user added: “She is the one to blame for this, she very well knew who was she getting together with.”

The pair have a mutual child Eseniya, 2.

As of December 2018, Arshavin has been in charge of cultural work as well as the training of youngsters playing at Zenit Saint Petersburg and is also working as a TV analyst in Russia.
