Stunning Serbian singer Radojka Kecman and her Swedish friend have been arrested for keeping an arsenal of automatic weapons and silencers in their apartments.
The 25-year-old pop star was arrested after the police raided her flat in the city of Novi Sad in the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina.
Footage shows a police raid in which weapons were seized in from an apartment in Novi Sad as part of probe.
It is unclear who the apartment in the footage belongs to.
According to local media, the police found two automatic rifles at the singer’s apartment and then raided the home of her friend, identified as Swedish national Svetozar Zivkovic, in the village of Bajmok near the city of Subotica.
At Zivkovic’s apartment, the police reportedly seized 11 automatic rifles, 11 gas pistols converted into firearms, 10 silencers, ammunition, phones and laptops.
Reports said that local authorities suspect the pair of being part of an organised group and members are fearful the singer may confess everything she knows while in custody, leading to more arrests.
An anonymous source told local media: “Kecman is worried about her arrest. She cries all the time and is very scared of prison.”
The source added that the weapons were new and the “evidence indicates that the couple was keeping them for someone else”.
A major investigation is now underway and the police are trying to determine where the arsenal came from and where they were supposed to end up.
The singer and her Swedish friend are reportedly being kept in custody for 30 days as the investigation continues.
