The Gunners veteran – who has a history of legal run-ins – was apparently nicked while he was parked outside a women’s fashion store in the city of Munich, Germany.

Picture of the encounter show the keeper grinning with his hands on his hips as he is grilled by two police officers.

Lehmann’s black Porche is seen parked in front of him after the prang on Wednesday, 22nd February.

A witness said: “The policemen eventually started checking his car using a measuring stick.”

Local media report that Lehmann has been involved in a shunt with another Porsche driver.

The former player star keeper from Schalke 04, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, Arsenal and VfB Stuttgart declined to comment.

The incident is just the latest in a series of run-ins involving Lehmann and the law.

A court hearing for speeding had to be postponed last December after he was apparently watching the World Cup in Qatar.

He is now apparently waiting for a new court date to answer charges that he was doing 111kph (69mph) in a 50kph (31mph) zone in Munich.

And last year Lehmann was accused of destroying his neighbour’s new garage with a chainsaw because it blocked his view of local beauty spot Lake Starnberg.

In 2016 he was fined EUR 42,500 (GBP 37,500) for aiding and abetting an escape from an accident.

And he also received a EUR 200 (GBP 177) fine for missing his own trial for making phone calls while driving.

In another bust-up Lehmann last year lodged an objection to a EUR 40 (GBP 35) fine for illegal parking but did not show up in court to fight it.

Lehmann started his professional career at German Bundesliga side Schalke 04 before joining Italian giants AC Milan in 1998.

He then played for Schalke’s rivals Borussia Dortmund for four years.

From 2003, Lehmann spent five highly successful years in North London. He won the Premier League with Arsenal in 2004 and the FA Cup the next year.

Lehmann is also a German Bundesliga winner (2002) and a two-time UEFA Cup finalist (1997, 2002). He earned 61 caps for Germany between 1998 and 2008.
