The accusation started after online users noticed the similarities between pictures of Latin star Ninel Conde, 48, from when she was younger and recent pictures of 25-year-old Ariana Grande.

That included images from the music video from Ariana’s new single ‘7 Rings’ which already has over 72 million YouTube views where they say the use of the Ninel look was clear.

In the video, online commentators said that she copied the look of Ninel, who also had a hit video in 2006 with ‘Bombon Asesino’.

Latin netizens claimed that the American singer had intentionally lifted Ninel’s look saying their hair and makeup were almost identical.

The comparison was picked up by Latin American media which widely reported on Ariana’s similarity to the much older Mexican.

While Ninal, who is also a popular actress, has been enjoying a successful career for over two decades, Araina’s first album was only released at the end of 2013.

According to reports, the young American has a much wider vocal range than her Mexican counterpart.

Meanwhile, Ninel regularly shares stunning photos for her 2.5 million Instagram followers while Ariana has over 143 million.

The Mexican stunner has also appeared in numerous TV series, including ‘Fuego en la Sangre’ (‘Fire in the Blood’), ‘Mar de Amor’ (‘Sea of Love’), ‘En Tierras Salvajes’ (‘In Wild Lands’).

Netizen ‘Emmanuel Heerval’ commented: “Ariana Grande is growing up to become Ninel Conde!”

‘JorgeTaboMoranemo’ said: “Ariana Grande is copying her.”
