This is the bizarre moment an Argentine councillor calls for the “elimination” of her political rivals while dressed as the doll from ‘Squid Game’ with a menacing guard bopping in the background.

Griselda Galleguillos, councillor for the centre-right political party Juntos por el Cambio (Together for Change) in the Argentine city of Salta, posted the video on Facebook with the message: “We will vote, Yellow will win.”

She added: “Humour only for those who get it.

“This 14th November, vote simple. Vote yellow. Carlos Zapata.”

Zapata is running for national deputy at the 2021 Argentine legislative election taking place next week.

Dressed as the doll from the hit Netflix series ‘Squid Game’, Galleguillos acted out a scene with a menacing guard to endorse Zapata and call for the “elimination” of his political rivals in the election.

She also wore a cap with the name of right-wing politician Alfredo Olmedo, a former Salta senator, on the front.

In the footage, the councillor is seen rapping: “If you don’t want to have your fridge empty, eliminate them. If you do not want to leave the country due to lack of work, eliminate them. If you do not want them to continue robbing you, eliminate them”, in reference to the eliminations featured in Squid Game.

Facebook user ‘Gabriel Burgos’ commented: “The only way to keep the fridge full is with our hard work and nothing else.”
