These images show the funeral that a group of animal lovers gave a rabbit who was placed inside a paper bag and thrown away like rubbish.

The lovingly created pictures were shared by Yushin Cat Patrol which are independent citizens that try to ensure the safety and justice for the cats in the residential town of Yishun in North Region of Singapore.

The dead rabbit was discovered by a cleaner at a housing complex inside a paper bag and covered with newspaper but initially thought it was a cat which led to Yushin Cat Patrol getting wind of the incident on 24th November.

However, after the group realised it was a rabbit, given the insensitive conditions the animal was found, they decided to honour the animal with a proper funeral before it was sent off to the Pet Cremation Services.

The images show several flowers placed all around the rabbit before it’s final send-off.

The cat patrol group issued a statement criticising the owner who did this and said: “TO ALL SUCH OWNERS: Pls remember that by what measure we dish out to others ,BY THAT MEASURE we will be dealt with.”(sic)
