This is the moment a furious Volkswagen driver crashes into an illegally-parked Toyota that has boxed him into a narrow alley before scraping past the car on the way out.

The minute-long clip going viral on social media shows the VW saloon slamming backwards into the Toyota, damaging both cars.

He repeatedly reverses into the illegally parked car until it is pushed out the way.

The VW, which the Toyota suffered a broken bumper during the incident, then backs out of the alleyway as the video ends.

The clip was filmed in the city of Guilin City in China’s southern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on 9th April.

According to reports, the Toyota owner left his white saloon in the side street next to a local hospital, and the VW driver spent several minutes trying to reverse out.

However, after having been unable to manoeuvre out of the alley or contact the Toyota owner, the driver decided to force his way out.

It is unclear how much damage was caused to the cars and whether either one of the drivers will be made to pay for the costs.

The authorities said they were still investigating the case.
