This is the moment a Massachusetts man confronts a napping cop and tells him “I see you sleeping here every single morning!”

The incident was filmed in the US state of Massachusetts and the video was shared on YouTube by netizen ‘Shaun Church’ on 21st November where it has been viewed 34,000 times.

Shaun titled the video ‘My friend Nick catches Massachusetts State Trooper sleeping on the job’.

In the footage, ‘Nick’ is seen approaching a Massachusetts State Police vehicle while filming through the window.

While an officer apparently naps in the front seat, the cameraman knocks on the window and wakes him up.

The startled cop lowers the passenger window and Nick says: “Bro, I see you sleeping here every single morning!”

He tells the officer that the video is going on Facebook Live and says: “Every morning I drive by, you’re f*cking sleeping, I can’t even see you in the front seat!”

After the video was widely viewed on social media, Massachusetts State Police spokesman David Procopio said in a statement: “We are aware of the video, which appears to show conduct that is clearly unsatisfactory, and we have opened an Internal Affairs (IA) investigation.”

Boston TV station WFXT said the officer in the footage graduated from police academy in 2020 and is currently still employed.

The IA investigation is ongoing.
