A Turkish farm shop owner has found the ‘Allah symbol’ for God embossed on an egg he was about to sell to a customer.

The Allah symbol, which is Arabic calligraphy for the word Allah meaning God, has left people wondering if it was God’s miracle or a just a bizarre coincidence.

Mehmet Necati Isler runs a small store in the district of Ahlat in the south-eastern Turkish city of Bitlis where, among other items, he sells organic eggs from his own hens that he feeds at his homestead.

Isler said he was shocked when he saw the word ‘Allah’ in Arabic embossed on one of the eggs a customer wanted to buy.

He said: “The name of God Almighty is written on everything in nature.

“I gave this egg to my customer as a souvenir instead of selling it for money.”

However, netizens’ opinions were divided after images spread on social media.

Some argued that it was a miracle while others claimed it was pure coincidence.

Twitter user ‘Hasan Yavuz’ wrote: “Why is it written in Arabic and not in Turkish if that’s a message? People think ‘Allah’ is written on everything when they see three lines coming together.”
