A Brazilian influencer has shocked social media with a gruesome snap of her blood-soaked face following two cosmetic procedures.
But Flavia Pavanelli – from Aruja, Sao Paulo State – denied having had a botched op, claiming that the heavy bleeding was simply part of the recovery process.
The 24-year-old wrote: “The StarWalker’s immediate ‘after’ is a little scary, as there’s blood (caused by the micro-injuries it makes). But the result is amazing afterwards!”
Flavia – who boasts a whopping 19 million followers on Instagram – underwent laser genesis and StarWalker laser treatment on 7th November.

Laser genesis is a non-invasive procedure in which the skin is gently heated by a laser.
It is used to smooth the skin; reduce the salience of fine lines, dark spots, and wrinkles; fade scarring, redness, and broken blood vessels; and lessen the effects of rosacea.
And StarWalker laser treatment – another non-surgical procedure – makes scars and lesions – such as pigmented lesions, vascular lesions, and acne scars – less noticeable.
Flavia had taken to social media in September to post a rare snap of herself without make-up, revealing in the process that she suffers with acne.

She had written at the time: “I was even going use a filter, because I said, ‘I’m not going to scare people with my skin’…but let’s go for reality.”
Following her latest procedures, Flavia – who is also an actress and model – took again to social media to post another – this time less scary – selfie.
She wrote: “I’m great! A few hours after the laser, my face is still red but has barely swollen up.”
Acne is a common skin condition that causes spots, oily skin, and sometimes skin that is hot or painful to touch. It is said to affect most people at some point.
