SAINT-FELIU-D’AVALL, FRANCE- A grass fire endangered houses on the outskirts of a French city after drowning the entire residential settlement in thick black smoke. The view of the vegetation fire that was recorded from a drone, broke out at Lake Saint-Féliu along National Road 116, France on 14th June. According to the Department Fire and Rescue Service of the Pyrenees-Orientales statement, the firefighters managed to extinguish the fire at the end of the day while securing several threatened homes although a strong wind spread the fire on the spot. The blaze burned 25 acres. The teams remained to monitor the disaster area all night. It is not yet clear whether the buildings or the inhabitants suffered. The cause of the flame is under investigation.
