This footage with over a million views shows a man knocking a screaming woman out with a brutal kick to the face before he repeatedly boots her head as she lies unconscious on the ground.

The footage filmed by a resident in Daqing City’s Longfeng District, which is in north-eastern China’s Heilongjiang Province, went viral on video-sharing application Tik Tok before it was removed due to its distressing nature.

In the video, which shows the former couple inside a car park, the woman can be heard shouting while backing away from her ex-boyfriend, and then sitting on the ground against a parked saloon.

The violent ex-partner runs up to the woman and silences her with a hard kick to the face, with the blow knocking the woman unconscious.

But the ex-boyfriend kicks the woman two more times in the head, each causing a disturbing and loud clapping sound as his shoot connects with her face.

The video ends with the man lifting the unconscious woman off the ground.

Yang Naobo, Daqing Public Security Bureau’s deputy head of public relations, confirmed that they had tracked down and arrested the suspect over the attack.

The incident happened during an argument between the woman and her ex-boyfriend, Yang said.

However, a police statement insisted that the woman was not injured despite the distressing scenes seen in the footage.

Investigations are ongoing.
