An abused young wife has gone viral with her claims that she cannot leave her allegedly violent hubby because he is too good looking.

Li Xia, 23, from the city of Hengyang in the Chinese province of Hunan, told Chinese media that she was introduced to her future husband by a friend three years ago.

Despite only being 20 years old at the time, she said it was love at first sight.

The couple married after just two months of dating, but soon found themselves arguing constantly.

According to reports, the rows soon turned violent and husband Wang Qiang allegedly beat and kicked his wife, often inflicting heavy bruising on her body.

The husband reportedly wanted a divorce as he could not see them staying together long-term, however, Xia disagreed.

Despite his attempts to end the relationship, she always came up with new reasons to stay together, according to the news site Baidu.

She told reporters: “He is too handsome, and I can’t live without him for a moment.”

Xia said that she believes a woman has to remain faithful to her partner once she has attached herself to him, regardless of bad situations.

She also believes her husband is more handsome than famous stars like Chinese-Canadian rapper and actor Kris Wu, 31, and “never” wants him to leave her.

Meanwhile, Qiang said he loves his wife, but that she is naturally suspicious and arguments would often start because she would afford him no personal space and checked his phone all the time, adding that she spends every minute by his side and is jealous when other women are around.

Xia is reportedly pregnant with the couple’s first child and she told local media that she desperately wants a family with Qiang, adding: “I will promise him anything he wants as long as he doesn’t leave me.”
