This is the moment five teenagers are spotted piled on the back of a two-seater scooter without motorcycle helmets along a busy road.

The brazen underage driver and his four passengers were filmed on the streets of Zhaoping County, which is in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in South China.

The footage shows a teenage boy driving along a thoroughfare while a young girl sits in front of him.

Two girls and a boy share the tiny pillion behind the driver, with one of the kids looking at her phone as the overcrowded vehicle is being filmed from the side.

Neither the rider nor any of his passengers is wearing a motorcycle helmet, the footage shows.

County police said they summoned all five kids for questioning on 19th March.

As they were all minors under the age of 18, their parents were called along and official warnings were issued.

No fines are believed to have been issued.

Just three days earlier, police in the city of Dongguan, in the neighbouring province of Guangdong, arrested a man who was filmed carrying five women on his tiny scooter.

Footage showed three women sitting behind Mr Luo, while two sat in front of him – including one who straddled the scooter headlight.
