Yummy mummy Leonie Charlotte von Hase has surprised the beauty world at 35 years of age by being crowned the country’s oldest ever Miss Germany.

The German-Namibian stunner, who was also the competition’s oldest ever contestant, was crowned Miss Germany at the theme park Europa-Park located in the town of Rust in the south-western German region of Baden-Wurttemberg.

This year’s Miss German contest was considered unique for a number of reasons. All the judges were women, and the eventual winner was a 35-year-old mother who was selected not only for her looks but also her intellect and life achievements.

Shortly after being crowned, Von Hase, who has her own online company selling vintage clothing based in the German city of Kiel, posed with her fellow contestants.

In photos, the blonde beauty is seen standing in the middle of the group in black. One snap shows her with her fists clenched as she roars in triumph.

After the victory, the pretty mum said: “This is a night for strong women.”

Von Hase, who has a three-year-old son, became the contest’s oldest ever participant, its oldest winner and the first mum to be crowned, according to reports.

The winner, who grew up in Namibia, said that strong character only comes with experience.

Von Hase returned to Kiel, where her family originally comes from, just five years ago to be with her grandfather.

Her parents and two of her three sisters, who flew in for the contest from Namibia, cheered her from the stands.

Von Hase believes that femininity doesn’t necessarily come from a person’s outfit: “I don’t need a dress in order to express it.”

She said she is ready to become an example for millions of German women and wants to promote independence and confidence in the coming year.

Netizen ‘Keiz’ said: “I love it. She is such a nice woman and she does look very smart.”

‘Jacinthe’ commented: “So cool that we are finally overcoming sexism in the industry and promoting real beauty.”
