This footage showing a clever cat escaping from the shower has notched up an incredible 3.1 million views.
It was posted online by Twitter user ‘pomm0112’ who said that it showed the cat, named An, carrying out the complicated trick of escaping from the shower.
The water can be heard running in the background of the 6-second clip, and in order to avoid getting wet, the Leaps up into the air onto the shower door handle, holding it with its front paws and using its back paws to push against the door frame and open the door.
The cat then does a swift somersault through the loop of the door handle to land back on the floor and then disappears through the recently opened space created when the door opened.
It was posted with the message: “Here’s my clever kitty, who escapes whenever you put it inside a bathroom.”
Online commentators lined up to comment on the cute cat.
One wrote: “Cats are definitely made of water. Funny, since they can’t stand the stuff.”
