This 20-year-old man has tragically died in a motorbike accident just two hours after popping the question to his beautiful girlfriend, also pictured here.

According to local media, Jorge Corona and his fiancee Montserrat Rodriguez Ledezma from the city of Guadalajara in the western Mexican state of Jalisco had been in a relationship for six months and they planned to get married this month.

Corona reportedly got down on one knee and popped the question on Christmas Eve, just one day after his 20th birthday, and his partner gladly accepted.

Two hours later, the young man was riding his motorbike in the colony of Aldama Teltan when he crashed into another biker, according to local media.

Corona reportedly died on the scene and the other motorcyclist involved in the accident succumbed to their injuries as well.

Hours after the crash, Rodriguez Ledezma posted a touching message on Facebook where she also shared the pictures of the romantic proposal.

She wrote: “It was the best day of my life. The love of my life proposed to me, but in just seconds, minutes or hours everything changed. Thanks for being always with me until the end.

“Destiny is cruel, it took away a wonderful guy, a good son, a loving brother, an excellent boyfriend and a good friend.

“I love you with all my heart. Thanks for making me feel my best and always being with me for everything. I love you for proposing to me and at the same time, leaving. I love you.”

In another social media post, Rodriguez Ledezma revealed that they planned to get married this month.
