This is the moment a trampoline instructor on his first day of work jumps onto a trampoline as a three-year-old girl steps onto it and she is sent flying breaking her leg.

The incident occurred at a trampoline centre in the city of Kostroma in Kostroma Oblast region, Russia during the instructor’s first day of work.

In the video, the instructor can be seen jumping on a trampoline as a young girl, 3, plays in a foam pit with another child.

The instructor then jumps from one trampoline to another as the little girl steps onto the trampoline he lands on.

The girl is sent somersaulting through the air and lands on her side. The instructor, who has not been named in reports, rushes to her aid, lifting her up and dropping her by the side of the trampoline.

The tot was later taken to a hospital where she was diagnosed with fractures to her left tibia and fibia.

The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the provision of services that do not meet the safety requirements for the health and safety of consumers.

Investigators reportedly found that the worker was not familiar with the rules of conduct and had not learnt the safety precautions at the trampoline centre. 

The authorities said the employees and owner of the trampoline centre are being interviewed as the case is ongoing.
