This 15-year-old mother has died in a tragic road accident leaving her adorable baby girl behind after the motorbike she was riding on with her brother crashed into a car.

The incident took place in the village of Piroman in the central-northern Serbian municipality of Obrenovac when the teenage victim, identified as Jovana Aleksic, rode on the back of her 22-year-old brother’s motorbike.

According to local media, the driver of a Renault Clio tried to overtake on a solid white line and crashed directly into the young siblings.

Aleksic, who was mother to a seven-month-old baby girl named Sara, died at the scene, according to reports.

An unnamed eyewitness said that they “saw everything” and claimed the Renault driver, identified as 49-year-old Miodrag P., was to blame.

The witness added: “The crash was terrifying. The car went over the motorcycle and the unfortunate girl, who was sitting at the back of the bike.”

The victim’s brother, Milutin Bozovic, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but his life is not believed to be in danger.

The father Rade Bozovic said that he cannot believe his young daughter was involved in such a tragic accident.

He said in tears: “Her whole life was in front of her.

“There is a huge hole in my chest, there is nothing left in life for me anymore.

“Jovana never liked motorbikes. This was the first and unfortunately only time she ever sat on one.

“Sara is seven months old and it is very sad that she will never know her mother, but I will make sure she doesn’t miss anything.”

An investigation into the accident is underway.
