This 15-year-old girl was allegedly beaten over the head with a rock and fatally stabbed over a dozen times in the neck and the stomach by her classmate when she revealed that she was pregnant with his baby.

Schoolgirl Lucia Fernandez, 15, is believed to have been murdered by her 14-year-old classmate, who was not named, in Mendoza, Argentina on Tuesday (24th August).

Loca new site TN reports that Lucia’s classmate attacked her after she told him she was pregnant with his baby.

The 14-year-old suspect allegedly asked Lucia to meet him in an abandoned house where he brutally beat her with a rock and then stabbed her between 10-15 times.

The suspect then left Lucia’s dead body in the house and fled the scene.

Lucia was discovered by a neighbour just 20 minutes later but her injuries were so severe that by that point she was already dead.

Following an autopsy, it was established that the girl had suffered various injuries from being beaten with a rock and stabbed all over the body but her death was caused by a deep stab wound in the stomach.

The local community was shaken by the death of the teen and held a rally demanding that the authorities get to the bottom of the killing.

A witness eventually told the cops that he had seen the young girls classmate near the abandoned house at the time of the crime.

The police detained the teenager who ended up confessing to them that he killed her because she told him she was pregnant.

Fabián Fernández, the girl’s father, sold TN: “He killed her like a dog, stabbing her all over the body and leaving her face beaten to a pulp.”

The police raided the teens home and found a pair of trainers covered in blood and the knife that they believe he stabbed his classmate with.

The investigation is ongoing and is currently being handled by Gustavo Farmache, the Juvenile Criminal Prosecutor.
