This is the moment over a dozen cars parked by a quiet roadside are flattened in seconds after a graffiti-covered wall suddenly collapses on top of them.

The freak accident which has left 13 vehicles with varying degrees of damage was captured by CCTV cameras in the city of Sihui in China’s southern Guangdong Province.

The footage dated 18th May shows the row of parks having been left by the street next to the wall covered in graffiti which suddenly tips over and falls onto the vehicles.

The concrete shatters as the wall hits the roofs of the cars, leaving them covered in rubble.

According to reports, the incident happened near a residential area, with the boundary wall having surrounded a lot which has been empty for more than a decade.

None of the vehicles were occupied at the time and no pedestrians were injured during the accident.

The empty lot belongs to a local enterprise which has not found a purpose for the land besides leasing it out as a storage facility several years ago.

Local government officials said their investigations show the wall had not been secured properly, leading to the collapse following years of dereliction.

The owners are currently in the process of erecting a temporary fence in place of the wall, which will be fully removed, reports say.

The company is also expected to compensate the 13 vehicle owners over the accident.
