These images show the scars a youngster was left with after a bully allegedly stuffed cat faeces into his mouth and poured boiling water onto him.

The shocking incident happened at the Pusat Tahfiz Darul Quran Ittifaqiah boarding school in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur and the victim, 13 years old, was taken to Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL).

Local media report he had boiling water splashed over him by a bully, 12 years old, in the early hours of 16th October.

The victim, named in reports as Yusof, was taken to hospital and suffered burns to 13 percent of his body and damage to his shoulder joint which now requires physiotherapy.

The youngster reportedly said the disagreement between him and the bully started when the aggressor punched him in the face and stuffed cat faeces into his mouth.

The victim’s mother Siti Satariah Ahmad, 36, told reporters that the school had not offered to help with her son’s 400-MYR (75-GBP) medical bill.

She said that the parents of the alleged aggressor had offered her 3,000 MYR (566 GBP) in compensation but she has not accepted it and said she wants to take the case to court.

The headmaster of the school Muhammad Zahid claimed it was not a case of bullying but simply a misunderstanding. He said it only involved a cup of water and that both sets of parents had met and he thought the incident was dealt with.

It is unclear if the victim’s parents have filed a criminal complaint.
