This is the four-second video viewed by nearly 12 million people that shows a Japanese woman rhythmically beating her kitchen furniture to scare off a creepy cockroach.
According to reports, Twitter user ‘Darakkuma214’ and his family were relaxing at home in an unspecified part of Japan when they suddenly spied a cockroach.
He said that he blasted the creepy-crawly with insect spray, but it fled behind the stove which also had a pull-out drawer for cooking fish.

His dear mother, who spent much of last year undergoing cancer treatment and is said to be recovering well, jumped into action with a chopstick
She rhythmically banged the top of the stove while opening and shutting the drawer to scare the cockroach away, laying down a ‘fat beat’ that would make any percussionist proud.
Her Twitter-using son immortalised her efforts and the video has gone on to reach over 11.6 million views and inspired jazzed-up versions of the viral clip.
