This is the moment a pregnant bride-to-be was flung through the front windscreen of her fiance’s van in a crash on their wedding day.

The accident happened in the city of Lishui in East China’s Zhejiang Province as the driver surnamed Chen, his elderly father, and his two-months pregnant fiancee surnamed Lu were on their way to get married.

Harrowing CCTV images from Shixi Tunnel on the Wenzhou-Lishui Expressway shows Chen’s van suddenly veering out of its lane before hitting the wall of a breakdown bay.

The heavy impact sends his wife-to-be through the front window before she hits the ground narrowly missing two other vehicles which manage to stop just in time.

She was rushed to hospital where was diagnosed with head injuries and is not in a critical condition.

Despite her lucky escape, the couple were hit by tragedy as two-months pregnant Lu miscarried their unborn child during the smash.

Her fiance and his father were taken to hospital with broken bones.

Cops are still investigating the cause of the crash but stated that Lu was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident.
