Former Manchester United striker Chicharito might know how to find the back of the net but he does not know how to hit all the right notes.
Javier Hernandez, 28, better known as Chicharito, is now playing for Bayer Leverkusen in Germany.
But this short clip of him singing shows he has some interests outside football.
Despite sounding as if he is singing well off key, the one-time Old Trafford favourite has gained some online praise for his talents.
The song "Tengo que colgar" (I Have to Hang Up) is by the Mexican group Banda MS and tells of a failed romantic relationship.
And it comes after Chicharito was recently in the headlines after breaking up with the Spanish journalist Lucia Villalon.
He has since been said to be dating Mexican singer Camila Sodi, but her vocal skills do not seem to have rubbed off on the footballer.
The Banda MS shared the video of the footballer with the message: "As well as being a great footballer, he also does not sing our romantic songs badly, our friend Chicharito Hernandez!"
The video has already received more than 1,200 comments and almost 500 retweets, which were later answered by Chicharito himself.
He left a message which read: "Like a singer, I am a good footballer! Regards! I am a really fan of you."
According to some Mexican media, the video was recorded by the wife of his international teammate Andres Guardado as a night out for the old mates ended up in an emotional sing-song.
