The fashion designer daughter of the hard-line leader of the Chechen Republic has unveiled her first collection.
Aishat Kadyrova, 18, the eldest daughter of Ramzan Kadyrov, 40, launched her collection in Grozny, the capital city of the south-western Russia's Chechen Republic.
She last year took over the Chechen Firdaws fashion company that was launched by her mother Mendi Kadyrova, 38, in 2009.
And she has now launched her first collection which revealed a taste for fairy tale dresses with a Chechen ethnic influence.
Miss Kadyrova prepared 30 very feminine dresses made of soft fabrics in a variety of colours and embroidered by hand with semi-precious gemstones.
Famous music producer and businesswoman Yana Rudkovskaya, 42, helped Miss Kadyrova with the preparation of the show.
She said: "I was lucky to be one of the first people to see the collection and prepare the runway. I expect a sleepless night but what we have prepared will write a new page in the fashion history of Chechnya."
Miss Kadyrova's father is reportedly very proud of his daughter and thought it a good omen that her collection was unveiled on 1st March, the first day of spring in Russia.
"The most important thing for me is the comfort, correlating time of the year, true spirit of our folk together with current trends," he said.
Kadyrov, who has ruled Chechnya with an iron fist since 2007, made headlines last year when he entered three of his pre-teen children in a televised cage fighting competition.
Ahmad, 10, Zelimkhan, nine, and Adam, eight, took part in the mixed martial arts bouts with other children in a packed Grozny arena, during an event to mark the president’s birthday.
