A woman voted the sexiest in Russia has told her millions of online admirers to relax – after she was slammed for colouring her blonde hair pink.

Vera Brezhneva, 37, voted Russia’s sexiest woman by Maxim magazine in 2017, shared a video of her new look with her army of more than 10 million followers on Instagram.

But, if the singer was hoping for compliments, she would have been disappointed with most of her fans clearly preferring her as a blonde.

Brezhneva had posted the clip on the social network with the playful message: “The colour of my mood…”

But netizen ‘t.sycheva55’ commented: “What an awful colour, your hair looks like a loofah!”, while ‘ekaterina200682’ agreed: “This is terrible”.

And ‘mariiaandrichuk’ added: “Sorry to break it to you but your hair looked much better when it was blonde.”

Brezhneva later shared another video of herself, laughing while dancing on the ice at a rink, in which her hair was back to its normal colour.

She commented: “By the way, the pink hair – it was just a tint. Generally you all need to relax.”

Brezhneva first found fame with the popular Ukrainian girl group Nu Virgos who were famous for their sexy videos and saucy outfits.

She went on to become a successful solo artist, movie actress and TV host.

Last year, she and model pal Elena Perminova, 32, were teased for their skinny legs after they were pictured together at a Moscow fashion show.

At the time, Brezhneva commented: “Sitting next to the owner of the world’s longest legs!”

Netizens described her as a “living skeleton”, while saying Peminova’s legs “look like they need some extra food”.
