This is the shocking moment a man coolly enters a bustling cafe and repeatedly shoots his young girlfriend before putting the gun to his own head and pulling the trigger.

The incident took place in the district of Fethiye in the south-western Turkish province of Mugla when 44-year-old year Serdal Incedayi reportedly killed his 20-year-old girlfriend Fatma Tangaz.

In the CCTV footage, Incedayi is seen entering the busy cafe as groups of friends idly chat at the tables.

He coolly makes a beeline for his girlfriend, sitting near the far end of the cafe and wearing a white jumper.

As Incedayi approaches the young woman, he is seen taking a gun out of his back pocket and he starts shooting her at close range without hesitation.

Then without a moment’s pause, he points the gun to his head and pulls the trigger.

His limp body falls to the floor as the young woman slumps in her chair.

Meanwhile, frightened customers jump from their seats and flee.

According to local media, the emergency services arrived on the scene and declared Incedayi dead while his victim was rushed to hospital in a critical condition. However, she later succumbed to her injuries.

Reports said that she had been shot by Incedayi seven times.

The reason behind the murder and suicide is still unknown as the police investigation continues.
