This is the moment a car full of passengers is sent spinning down a street after crashing into another vehicle which pulled out of a parking spot in front of it.

The incident occurred in the Bayrampasa district of the Turkish city of Istanbul and was recorded by CCTV cameras in the area.

In the video, a driver can be seen pulling out of a parking space at the top of the screen when another vehicle being driven at high speed comes up behind it.

The speeding driver does not have time to react and crashes into the back of the other vehicle, sending it spinning out of control as his own car careers down the road side-on.

Five men get out of the white car and go running towards the other vehicle before returning to their own car to inspect the damage.

Local media report four people were injured in the incident and taken to a local hospital after an ambulance was called to the scene.

Witness Fikret Ucak told reporters: “We were indoors with friends. When we heard the sound we went outside. The car was going really fast. It didn’t see the other car coming out of the parking spot and hit it. We came out to check when the car was dashing past. The driver of the parked car seemed heavily injured, he was lying on the ground. I don’t have information about their states at the hospital.” 

A police investigation has been launched into the case and no arrests have been reported.
