This is the horrific moment a car flips and rolls after crashing into a mother and her teenage daughter on a scooter.

CCTV footage from the city of Haiyang in East China’s Shandong Province shows saloon driver Yu, 51, speeding in the fast lane when the scooter comes into view.

The mother surnamed Cheng, 51, and her daughter Liu, 15, riding pillion attempt to cut across the road and stray into the path of Yu’s car.

The silver saloon crashes into scooter, sending Cheng’s teenage daughter flying off her seat and spinning in the air before falling to the ground.

Meanwhile, Yu slams into the median crash barriers and rapidly flips his car twice as it appears to narrowly avoid landing on the girl’s body.

The video shows Cheng’s scooter sliding out of camera shot.

Haiyang police said Cheng and her daughter Liu were fatally injured during the accident and were declared dead by arriving paramedics.

Saloon driver Liu was injured during the crash but is believed to be in stable condition following the collision, which is now being investigated.
