The car rams into a wall and comes to a stop before a young couple comes out of the house to inspect their wrecked carport.

According to local media, the 70-year-old driver of a Perodua Myvi crashed into a semi-detached home instead of following the road round to the left.

During a moment of panic, she lost control of the vehicle and careered into the gates.

The elderly woman also caused damage to a wall and one of the cars parked in the property’s driveway, according to reports.

Meanwhile, a young couple approached the bungling driver and told her to remain where she was.

Police spokesman Afzanizar Ahmad said that the woman lives just one street from where the accident happened.

She reportedly suffered a broken arm during the crash and is receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.

Ahmad confirmed that the police are investigating the accident.
