A stunned onlooker has filmed a daring couple apparently having sex on a park bench for over six minutes right outside a train station in broad daylight.

The young couple, who chose a stone bench in plain view of commuters standing on the station platform, can be seen thrusting up and down with the woman even arching her back in apparent ecstasy at one point.

The six-minute clip shot from the platform of Shalu Train Station in Taiwan’s western city of Taichung shows the young woman straddling her partner as he repeatedly thrusts his lower body upwards.

The person filming, who managed to keep steady while filming the brazen public act, suggested the pair did not seem to care about any witnesses or passers-by.

Train time announcements can be heard in the background of the video as the energetic couple continue their frisky acrobatics for all to see.

The witness who later posted the video online shot a full six minutes of footage, with the young man still going strong as the clip ends.

Local authorities in Taichung have not commented on the matter despite the footage having been widely shared online and even removed by Facebook in one instance.

It is therefore unclear whether the couple will be fined for their inappropriate public display of eager affection.

According to a study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, the median length of intercourse is 5.4 minutes, putting the young man well within the average.
