This is the touching moment a 22-month-old toddler fighting cancer dances to the viral Baby Shark song on his hospital bed.

An eyewitness with a smartphone filmed little Matias Baquedano enjoying the song at a hospital in the Honduran capital city of Tegucigalpa.

Matias, who has lost his hair from his chemotherapy treatment, really throws himself into dancing along with the tune.

And he uses his fingers to make the signs representing the different members of the shark family featured in the song.

The video was shared by the Honduras Foundation For Children With Cancer on Facebook where it is proving popular with viewers.

The foundation posted it with the comment: “Joy and happiness are emotions that are experienced every day on our hospital ward.”

Netizen ‘Cindy Portillo Chacon’ said: “What a beautiful baby”, and ‘Daisy Nelly Mendoza’ added: “Beautiful baby, God will cure you.”

While, another online commentator, ‘Alejandro Barrientos’, noted: “Definitely the best Baby Shark I have seen in my life!”

Baby Shark has notched up more than 1.8 billion views since it was posted online by the South Korean educational website Pinkfong.

It starts with the music from the 1975 movie Jaws before introducing a family of sharks, Baby Shark, Mummy Shark, Daddy Shark, Grandma Shark and Grandpa Shark.
