This is the moment a biker flies forwards off his motorcycle when the back wheel is sent into the air as he brakes sharply to avoid a turning taxi.

The accident was captured on Kam Sheung Rd in Hong Kong on 20th March.

The video shows the taxi approaching the junction on the busy road and preparing to turn right onto another street when the biker rides into view.

Anticipating a collision, the motorcyclist performs an evasive manoeuvre and applies the brakes in order to avoid a head-on crash.

But the front brakes fully lock and the back of his bike is launched into the air, sending him flying off his seat onto the ground in front of the taxi.

The cabbie, who does not move throughout the crash, appears to escape the accident without even a single scratch on his taxi.

The biker manages to stand up after the front flip and appears not to be injured as he stares furiously at the taxi and then begins pacing around his motorcycle.

It is still unclear whether the police were called to sort out the accident, which has left social media users debating who was to blame.

‘Flora Lau’: “The biker should report him for dangerous driving.”

‘Chi Ho’: “No ABS?”
