The world and Olympic champion ice skater wife of President Putin's spin doctor has controversially been named Russia's most stylish woman.
The awarding of the title to figure skater Tatiana Navka, 42, in the Hello 2017! awards raised eyebrows among online commentators.
The beautiful blonde, who is married to Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov, has become something of a celebrity since retiring from competitive skating in 2006.
She has featured on reality TV and is often featured in the Russian media in stunning outfits, from designer business suits to jaw-dropping evening gowns.
But most netizens seemed surprised she had been chosen as the country's most glamorous woman.
‘Miwkin’ commented: "Did her hubby pay for this award?", 'anilleposh’ said: "Is it a joke? Like this woman is stylish…", and ‘Chu4uka’ added: "This is sooooo funny."
Meanwhile ‘Tata F’ fumed: "This is so shameful. How come she can be called the most stylish?
"People are sick and tired of Navka. Let her tell the nation how she managed to earn 120 million in just one year. That's way more interesting."
Navka was the 2006 Olympic champion ice dancer, a two-time world champion, a three-time Grand Prix Final champion, and a three-time European champion.
She and Peskov, who has been Putin's press secretary since 2012, married in 2015 and have a two-year-old daughter, Nadia.
Their wedding hit controversy when Peskov was photographed wearing an exclusive 670,000 USD (523,000) Richard Mille watch - worth more than his declared income for his years as a state employee.
When challenged about the watch, Peskov replied that it had been paid for by his new wife.
