Mystery surrounds the death of a 24-year-old Italian student in London’s Dalston neighbourhood.
The body of Francesca Bezuayehu Bisco was discovered by her unnamed roommate at their flat in Dalston, in the borough of Hackney in north-east London.
She had come to London from the Italian town of Adria in the Veneto region of northern Italy to study computer science and perfect her English, though it was not reported which university or college she was attending.
An autopsy will be carried out to determine the cause of death. No details of the circumstances of her death have yet been reported.
Her parents are thought to have come to London already, to talk to authorities regarding their daughter’s death and to bring home her body once examinations are complete.
Francesca had been in London for around a year and a half. She had worked part-time in a fast-food restaurant to finance her studies.
It was not clear when Francesca’s body was discovered but Italian media reported that she is thought to have died on Friday or Saturday.
