This is the romantic moment a stewardess runs down the aisle of a passenger plane to accept her fiance’s proposal when he gets down on one knee with a ring in one hand and a bunch of flowers in the other as their passengers clap and cheer.

The proposal took place on a flight from Warsaw to Kraków in Poland, with the footage showing stewardess Paula running down the aisle with a huge smile on her face after the pilot, named as Captain Konrad Hanc, proposed to her over the speakerphone.

The man was audibly nervous and his voice trembling as he reportedly said (in Polish): “I hope my legs don’t give out from under me.”

He then said: “Good morning, this is Captain Konrad Hanc.

“I would like to welcome you on board the plane of the Polish airline LOT. Today there is a very important person on board this plane.”

Captain Konrad added: “A year and a half ago, at this job, I met the most wonderful person who completely changed my life.”

Then he said: “You are my greatest treasure, the greatest fulfilment of my dreams.”

He then knelt down on one knee, took out a huge bouquet of flowers and asked stewardess Paula in front of all the passengers if she would become his wife.

The footage shows Paula running down the aisle and throwing herself into her fiancé’s arms as passengers applaud and cheer.

The happy couple kiss passionately before the footage ends.

After Paula accepted his proposal, the captain smiled and said: “And now I’m inviting you all to fly to Kraków with me.”

They then took off their destination, flying on the wings of love.
