This is the moment firemen were called to a hospital by doctors to carry out a tricky operation on an unfortunate toddler with his private parts snagged in his trouser zip.

The two-year-old, who has not been named, let out loud screams and his wailing was heard throughout Northern Jiangsu People’s Hospital as docs tried to work out how to free him.

In the end however they decided it was too complicated, and called in the professionals by alerting the Yangzhou fire service, who arrived promptly with the perfect tool to help free the boy’s penis in the form of a pair of pliers.

The boy’s parents from the city of Yangzhou, which is in East China’s Jiangsu province, said a family member was helping the tot do up his zip when the mechanism caught his penis.

They tried to help the boy, but they could not move the zip without eliciting more painful cries from their son during the accident on 30th January.

Video from the doctor’s office shows the boy lying on a table and crying as a group of rescuers crowd around his private parts inspecting the zip.

With the pliers, a fireman very carefully prises apart the metal zip and frees the boy.

Reports said it took all but five minutes.

Medics checked the toddler shortly after and confirmed that he had suffered no serious injuries.

Images show the adorable little boy was even able to crack a big smile following the ordeal.
